Frederic Friedel the co-founder of ChessBase is 75 years old. But when he was young he used a trap with the black pieces in the Italian with which he beat 12 of his opponents! What’s that trap? IM Sagar Shah shows you in this video!

  2. Sagar shah please tell us which chess set you're using in this video, looks cool, I really want to buy those…

  3. I went out humiliated when my opponent beat me in this trap. My father said the tournament just started and you lost so quickly! The tournament started at 1 pm and it was 2 past 1 when I came out.

  4. At 1:22 If knight moves to G4 queen can no longer attack G2 pawn and white is a pawn up

  5. been seeing ur trap series for a while ,this one's the best , may b there are better but I could understand this .

  10. I also used to play this trap, either i won or the opponent looses his queen

  11. That's the oldest trick in the book. Nobody falls for it these days, honestly.

  12. The bishop could've took the knight at end

  13. I love your sessions. Learning a lotβ™Ÿ

  14. I was talking to some old guy. Now he is 75 years old. When he was young he was also 8 years old.

  20. My favourite trap , THA BLACKBURN SHILLING GAMBIT

  21. I’m italian and now I’m pretty confused

  22. Very common trap known as Blackburne Shilling Gambit. I have beaten many players with this!! And even throw a drama by facepalm πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ and saying β€˜oh no’ 😝
A similar trap can be found in the two knights defence. For those who are afraid of the fried liver, be afraid no more!!

  23. This is called the blackburne shilling gambit

  24. Yesterday I was beaten by this blackburne shilling gambit πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜Ž

  25. "it's too safe" gambit.. It really works guys under 1500-1600 level.. You would never get a chance to check mate your opponent but you will get a decent position from this opening specially if you're bore with italian structure..

  26. After
    1.e4 e5
    2.nf3 nc6
