  3. I actually agree. If you don't know when to open (the file) it can get really complicated or really simple with equal trades which leads straight to a boring endgame

  4. as intermediate player (2000 lichess elo) that was a beginner 2 years ago: play Skandinavian vs 1.e4 and Englund Gambit vs 1.d4 as a beginner, these are very forcing, getting you tactical positions so you see ur daily puzzle solving pay off. as white play the London system, very easy repertoire.
