  1. @7:15 white bishop to G5 , to pin down the black night. You don’t mention how easily that is overthrown. Black pawn to H6.

  2. is it just me or does the second ear on the knights look like a unicorn.

  3. This guy sounds like donut operator πŸ˜‚

  4. 7:13 why would the opponent not try take the bishop with pawn on h6?

  5. At 7:28 when you recommend bringing the white bishop out to g5, why wouldn't black simply move pawn to h6 to threaten the bishop?

  6. One of the best series made, totally worth to watch!

  7. Who's here after watching THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT the show?

  8. I allways play queens gambit and when they dont accept I play Catalan opening

  9. 4:57 White could move Queen to b3 (protecting the Bishop) and then Bishop to f7, putting Black's King on the run.

  18. What should I do if he moves his bishop to protect his pawn??

  19. What if the opponent makes other moves such as moving his Knight or Bishop. How do you counteract them?

  20. I'd go for Marshall defense and not block my bishops.

  21. What do you do if pawn moves to h6 at 8:10 do you trade or retreat?

  22. I just got back into the game after some peoe at worked asked me to play them on chess dot com and avoided this opening because I thought everyone would have killed it after the Netflix show but actually enjoying it so far! Thanks chess community for not rinsing an idea like fans for anything else does

  23. I'm assuming that the queen's gambit doesn't work if black doesn't move its queen's pawn in the very beginning.

  24. 'For white the light-squared bishop is usually the most powerful bishop.' Why?

  25. You don't say in chess pawn to d4, pawn to d5…you say d4, d5…
