Nice tunes bro
Not a frequent viewer, but why is chat just Pogo-ing hikaru?
Can't believe I watched all that. Now, I'm gonna hit the subs button.
Honestly the biggest reason I wanna get higher than my 850 rating is to get better at strategizing long term plays. I feel like at my elo it's simply a matter of who blunders quicker but there's no real strategy involved.
Hikaru Monster
This puzzle explains the reason why classical format has such a long time control.
In a puzzle context, you have that contextual comfort of knowing there is a correct solution, but when it’s an actual match with a limited time frame you don’t.
I guess Hikaru made it look so easy because he’s used to harsher conditions.
Tough puzzle but my man nailed it…new subscriber!!!

2:34 Best move from Hikaru…
I played for the draw coz i exchanged the rooks then forgot that pawn sacrifice so the king could approach the other pawn. This is just amazing.

Know how to use a chess clock! This cost me my first tournament, super silly. I mention this embarrassing story in my top tips video.

My first tournament is tommorow, there will be a five year old. Most likely playing against me. Thank you for this great advice.
Its crazy how one of the strongest players in the world (hikaru nakamura) took 14 minutes to solve this puzzle while stockfish in my computer took 4 seconds
