A few months ago, I made a video on how to crush playing 1. e4 and gave various recommendations against Black’s openings in the French, Sicilian, Scandinavian, and so on. In this video, I analyze the Vienna Attack in full depth. It’s excellent for beginners, intermediates, and advanced players.

  1. Wait so…. e4 e5 nc3 nf6 f4 d5 fxe5 Nxe4 Qf3 Nc6 Bb5 Bc5 then what

  2. I'm watching January 2023 and from 200 subs to 2.41m 🙂

  3. can they play nf6 then nc6 and the same things will happen?

  4. ‘Nearing 100k’ in 2020. Now over 2 million subs in 2023. Crazy growth. Congrats @GothamChess! 22:00

  5. Tried this 100 times and each time the bishop moves 2 after matching king pawn. I don’t get how to play that variation. Not often are they not just countering with bishop 2 move

  6. If bishop takes check instead queen, what do you do?

  7. 2.55 Milly from >200k 2yrs ago Congrats my guy! 👏

  8. There is a nice trap with the pawn to g5 after you take and sac the knight. You use bishop to check king. King takes because if he doesnt its a linear checkmate with queen. Then you take f4 pawn with rook putting them in check again……. and again, they cannot move back to where they were or its another liner checkmate. So they play knight f6 to block king then you push your e pawn forward taking advantage of the pin on the knight, blacks most played move is bishop to e7 which is a blunder btw. Because after pawn takes black cannot stop an inevitable checkmate after queen h5 then advancing your e pawn will trap his queen in her hole and its time to resign for black. After queen e 5 check mate

  9. Man that's crazy listening to you say that you're almost at 100k subs when it was only two years ago.. Meanwhile at the beggining of 2023 you have already 2,5 fucking million subs! That's insane.

  13. what if it at 11:28 the qxe5 instead of qxc2, just asking incase the opponent doesn't see qxc2

  14. I don't use engines to study….I've got Levy.

Thanks for the great content. I watch and re-watch many of your videos.

  15. Most beginners would play the copycat version which is at 14:47 so I would recommend studying the theories on it
